Radio-Quebec names two shops

Radio-Quebec has awarded the media buying portion of its $1.25-million account to MacLaren:Lintas and creative duties to Communications bleu blanc rouge.

The account had been with natcom of Montreal for the past three years.

On the short-list for the creative assignment were TamTam and Publicite Martin, which was also in the running for the media business along with Groupaction Marketing.

The new agencies will soon begin working on the launch of the fall tv season for Radio-Quebec, an educational tv channel, which has primarily used print to promote viewership in the past.
