2nd Annual
Marketing to Québécois Conference
May 5 & 6, 2003
International Centre, Toronto
The event of the year for those of you who appreciate the uniqueness of the Quebec market, but grapple with how distinct to make your marketing efforts.
World Health Organization lifts travel advice for Toronto:
WHO Director-General Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland announced that the travel advisory for Toronto will be lifted effective April 30, 2003.
Please be advised that the Marketing to Quebecois conference is running as scheduled May 5 & 6. SARS has not affected conference preparations, which continue as usual.
The government of Ontario continues to advise that "the risk to the general population of SARS is very, very low. Anyone traveling to Toronto or anywhere in Ontario - either for business or pleasure - should be reassured that it is safe to do so." The impact of SARS on the general population of Toronto has been minimal and has not affected any of the Strategy staff. The conference website is updated regularly. If there are any changes in the agenda or speaker line up it will be reflected here.
